Link Container

Overview

Allows the user to navigate within and outside of ONE DATA using a link hierarchy. Three container types are available.


Steps to Follow

  1. Create a workflow with a Result Table processor or a Filterable Result Table (FRT) with a link column
  2. Create a new report for the workflow
  3. In the report add a new container by clicking "Add Report Container" or by double-clicking in the empty canvas.
  4. Select a processor with the data that should be visualized
  5. Switch to edit mode
  6. Open the chart menu and change the type to "Link Container"
  7. Set the mandatory fields (Link container type and link column)

Configuration

The configuration is different for every link container type. The common fields are:



1. Data Manipulation

    Filter shown data. It's possible to add a filter for each column.


2. Link Container Type

    Choose a container type. Three types are available (Buttons, Hierarchy and Dropdown)


3. Link Column

    Choose the column in the table that contains the links.


4. Text/Label Column

    Choose the column that contains the displayed text.

 

5. Tooltip Column

    Choose the column containing the text that appears in the tooltip.


6. Buttons Config

    Configure displayed buttons. Different link containers have different settings (the shown settings correspond to the Dropdown container)


7. Color Config

    Set the font color, the background color and the background hover color.


8. General Chart Container Settings

    Change the background color and and choose whether to display the container title.










Options specific to the Button Container


It's possible to display the buttons in more than one column by setting the number of buttons per row.





Options specific to the Hierarchy Container


Select the Parent column and Identification column for the hierarchy tree.












Word Cloud

Overview

The Word Cloud Container displays the distinct values in one or more columns. The size of the word is proportional to its occurrence in the selected columns.

Steps to Follow

  1. Create a workflow with a Result Table processor or a Filterable Result Table (FRT) with a link column
  2. Create a new report for the workflow
  3. In the report add a new container by clicking "Add Report Container" or by double-clicking in the empty canvas.
  4. Select a processor with the data that should be visualized
  5. Switch to edit mode
  6. Open the chart menu and change the type to "Word Cloud"
  7. Set the mandatory field (Word Column)
